One of the most inspiring success stories to emerge from this mission is Coco Cafio—a brand of high-quality chocolates, created and managed by a group of semi-skilled women who dared to dream beyond their circumstances.

From Struggle to Strength: The Birth of Coco Cafio
For many women in underserved communities, financial dependence and societal constraints limit their opportunities for growth. With little to no access to stable employment or entrepreneurial guidance, they often find themselves trapped in a cycle of poverty and economic vulnerability. afifa foundation recognized this challenge and sought to provide an opportunity where these women could learn, earn, and build a future on their own terms.
Through our Women's Economic Empowerment Program, we initiated skill development workshops focused on small-scale food processing and confectionery production. Among the participants were women who had never worked outside their homes but had a strong will to change their lives and support their families. With the right training, guidance, and resources, these women turned their talent into a thriving business venture—Coco Cafio.
